Two Masters and the Law of Attraction

correr

You can’t serve two masters at the same time. You will worship one and curse the other.

The same is true for our desires. In order for the Law of Attraction to work, we must choose one goal, one desire we would like to fulfill.

You can’t reach a goal if you have too many things in mind, or if you keep on changing goals now and then.

Persevere in your prayer. Serve only one master. Receive what it is you truly desire.

But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. - James 1:6-8

3 Kinds of Prayers for the Law of Attraction

There are only 3 kinds of prayer for the law of attraction. The prayer of surrender, the prayer of hope, and the prayer of gratitude. All these sums up the power of prayer, the way of miracles and the manifestation of realities brought about by the Law of Attraction.

1.  The Prayer of Surrender

This is the prayer prayed in times of anguish, of sorrow and of pain. During such times, it would be near impossible to render a true prayer of hope or of gratitude, for the heart is aggrieved and the soul is sick and needs healing.

It is hypocrisy for a man to say that he is thankful for such sufferings. No man is thankful for suffering except for masochists, and even masochists are not primarily thankful for the pain, but for the pleasure derived from such pain.

These are times of darkness, of raging storms when we hold on to faith by a very thin thread, yet handle we must until we can truly utter a prayer of surrender.

A prayer of surrender acknowledges our grief and admits our weakness. It admits our hurt, our anger, our fears. Yet this prayer also admits one very essential thing, that we surrender to Someone Higher than ourselves, to a God who will take care of us even if we cannot yet grasp how.

A prayer of surrender is a prayer of letting go and is in a way, a prayer of freedom, freedom from whatever it is that afflicts us at the moment and keeps us from praying a prayer of hope or of gratitude.

The result of this prayer therefore is comfort and peace, and a great pause that allows us to rest and regain strength and perspective.

2.  The Prayer of Hope

After letting go and receiving healing, the heart finds wholeness, the soul gains perspective to dream again and discover what it is it truly desires.

From pain it learned what it does not truly want and it is now ready to receive visions of its true destiny.

Were you broken hearted? Have you been released from a person who does not deserve your loyalty and love? After healing, you are now given the chance to feel what kind of person would really make you happy.

This prayer of hope is the prayer of attraction, whose power manifests the best vision we can make. It is a good feeling, almost of certainty, that things wonderful are about to happen and its only a matter of time.

3.  The Prayer of Gratitude

After attracting the true desires of our heart, we receive what we have hoped for in full, not lacking in any way. This is the prayer of gratitude, when the heart is filled with gladness and asks for nothing more than to be a channel of blessing for other people.

With gratitude, one is resonating with the highest vibrations of joy and love. Everything is perfect, a heaven, something you’d wish to keep forever.

What prayer are you praying at the moment? Know that whatever situation you are in, there is a kind of prayer that can tap to the Law of Attraction. There is a powerful prayer within the reach of your heart.

What do you give when you have nothing?

You Have to Give in order to Receive

We all know the saying, “Ask and ye shall receive. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and ye shall be opened for you.” Yet who can easily grasp the principle that in order to receive, one must be able to give first?

According to new age ideas, this is based on the principle of reaping what you sow, which is true indeed. You cannot harvest anything if you never planted any seeds. This they say, is the universal principle of prosperity.

According to this principle, it is never wise to hoard money. Money, like energy, should freely circulate in order to perform its task. And to be able to receive more of it, we should begin by also giving more. But how? Many people barely have enough to live by, and in these difficult times, few have money to spare. Where do we begin indeed when all that we have is “nothing”?

I would like to say that nobody starts at nothing. To say that we have nothing is to suggest that we create something out of nothing, and the Universe doesn’t work like that. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transmuted. Energy is transformed only from one form into another. We create from what is already available, from what we have, and we never have “nothing.”

To begin with, we have ourselves, and that doesn’t count as nothing. You are a child of God, a precious soul with freewill and dignity, and nobody can take it away from you. The Universe would explode without you, it cannot exist if you suddenly vanish into thin air.

You have disregarded your significance for a long time and counted it as nothing, and so conclude that you can give nothing in return. But the truth is you’re worth so much more than you give yourself credit for. You’re a whole world, a whole universe of potentials within yourself, waiting to be explored, tapped, and unleashed. If you could only tap into the sacred center of your being, you would be surprised at what you can do, at what God can accomplish through you, at what difference you can make in the world.

The real issue therefore is not the absence of money, but the awareness of the vast resources that you possess, resources that could make you more money than you could ever imagine until your cup runneth over and overflows.

Start with yourself today. Love that soul. Be grateful for the intricate work heaven has done in you. Making money is only a small portion of the infinite resources put upon your hands. Once you get to know your real self, you will be able to give more, and in so doing, receive exceedingly more than what you have ever desired!

Just Lucky!

Just Lucky

I’ve won quite a number of things during raffle draws - a parker pen, a backpack, a kitchen set, a free dinner. They may not be worth much, but they certainly make my day. I feel happy receiving them, blessed, loved.

There are other people who win more things, in a lottery perhaps. On the other hand, there are people who haven’t won any and feel themselves unlucky at raffle draws.

Are there really lucky people? My Mom said when I was a little child, they’d take me to a fare or a carnival and I’d place a bet and win! Just lucky?

There are many things that can’t be explained. (Well, we all wish it could so we could schedule are next winnings at the lottery!) But there are principles that could help us understand such events.

One principle I believe that could help is the principle of vibration. According to this principle, we attract things that happen or come into our lives. Maybe it’s a line of thinking, or faith, or the state of one’s soul. And in the case of being lucky, maybe it’s the openness in receiving such things.

Other people may not believe in it cause they want to receive everything through hard work, they feel guilty receiving gifts, or they may not think they deserve it. In my case, there are lots of people who may think winning a parker ballpen is just insignificant, they can buy it anyways. But why buy it when you can receive it for free? Why close your hands when God is giving you so many things He wishes you to have? Next time, try to be more open, you’ll never know what surprises might just come your way. :-)

A Different Time Management

Have you also felt there’s just so much you wanted to do, but you don’t have as much time to do them all?

For a start, how many loved ones do you have?  Maybe you have a spouse, and two kids, plus your parents, a brother and a sister, perhaps two close friends?  How much time will you devote on each one?  If you have a career or a mission, you need to spend time on it, too.  All these considered, you still have to take care of yourself.

Many seminars on time management and work-life balance had been conducted on this already.  We were advised to prioritize, to do this and that.  Still, we can’t seem to satisfy the desires of our heart.  So how will you do it?  How do you take care of each person and of each thing that matters most to you?
