When God separated light from darkness,
heaven was defined as it has never been defined before.
From then on, heaven is no longer the absence of evil
but the triumph of good

Hi, Wilma! Nice to see you here. Even if we believe in different things, in the end, I guess things will be the same when God finally finishes what He is creating. When darkness is finally overcome, there will be no evil, there will be only God, goodness and love. 😉

As you say, we may all believe different things but there are a common threads of “connectedness” that we all share as humans. This common ground is where we can all come together in peace, and with compassion.

Heaven is here there is not other place. Heaven is now there is no other time. My favorite line in A Course In Miracles. Like Keith there are common threads in all religions.

Mmm..I think this is why it is so important to be Light Filled…to share pure and good…I agree with Tess– heaven is here, in all of the Light Filled Places…
I’m not sure who created darkness, but darkness exists in the absence of Light, and I think we’ve all experienced moments where darkness was directed toward us, even if we haven’t been in it…
I choose Light, but I know those who cannot yet See it, or find it too bright to embrace…
@Joy – I believe that nobody created darkness, it is only Light that is created. 😉 In this world however, we still live in a world where both light and darkness exists: night and daytime, sunny days and stormy ones, pain and pleasure, life and death. There will be a time when Light shall vanquish even these darkness scattered around us, how exciting it will be to see that great day!
Ah let there be light…and a life light filled is a full life…
it takes the darkness to recreate…refresh….renew…not as evil but as growth and possibility thus is it light too?
