Have you ever had one intention of yours manifest before you only to feel that it wasn’t what your heart really desired after all?
For example, you were praying for a life partner, someone you wish to love and spend your entire life with. Then, a few weeks after you prayed, someone arrives, someone who likes you and really desires to be with you. He seems okey at first, and you were thrilled at the answer to your prayers. As you get to know him however, you find out there were some things about him you don’t like, and despite the good things others say about him, you couldn’t feel he’d be the man you’d fall in love with, the soulmate you couldn’t be without.
Still you tried to convince yourself that he is the manifestation to your prayers. You wanted him to. But as time goes by you feel more and more unhappy. You find fault in the things he does, even the little things annoy you. Soon you’re getting angry, not only at him but at God, at the Universe who sent him to you. Why? You’re now blaming the Universe because it sent you an imperfect answer to your prayers, an answer that couldn’t really make you happy.
Times like these, how can you explain the law of attraction? Can attraction lead you to an imperfect answer to your prayers?
In my own understanding, what really happened was something like this:
At the time you prayed for something or someone, the Universe sent you a vibrational match at the time of your prayer. At that time, you may not be fully aligned nor fully aware of what you really want. Then, when the answer came, a change may have already happened within you. At that time, the answer to your previous prayer could no longer satisfy you. It may also happen that upon seeing what you don’t want, you’ve become more aware of what you really want.
But instead of letting go of the first person who presented himself to you, you held on and convinced yourself that he is the one. Instead of praying again, you blamed the Universe for his imperfect gift to you. Hence, instead of gratitude, there is anger, and sooner or later, unbelief. In this kind of vibration, the more you’d never get the true answer to your prayers.
What would you do? Woud you be willing to risk losing the one you have to finally meet the one who can truly make you happy? Are you willing to risk it? Are you willing to let go of the imperfect so you can receive the gift that can make you perfectly happy, abounding in love and gratitude for the goodness and generosity of the God who never stops blessing you and giving you your heart’s desires?
“Blessed are the pure for they shall see God.”
