Just Lucky!

Just Lucky

I’ve won quite a number of things during raffle draws - a parker pen, a backpack, a kitchen set, a free dinner. They may not be worth much, but they certainly make my day. I feel happy receiving them, blessed, loved.

There are other people who win more things, in a lottery perhaps. On the other hand, there are people who haven’t won any and feel themselves unlucky at raffle draws.

Are there really lucky people? My Mom said when I was a little child, they’d take me to a fare or a carnival and I’d place a bet and win! Just lucky?

There are many things that can’t be explained. (Well, we all wish it could so we could schedule are next winnings at the lottery!) But there are principles that could help us understand such events.

One principle I believe that could help is the principle of vibration. According to this principle, we attract things that happen or come into our lives. Maybe it’s a line of thinking, or faith, or the state of one’s soul. And in the case of being lucky, maybe it’s the openness in receiving such things.

Other people may not believe in it cause they want to receive everything through hard work, they feel guilty receiving gifts, or they may not think they deserve it. In my case, there are lots of people who may think winning a parker ballpen is just insignificant, they can buy it anyways. But why buy it when you can receive it for free? Why close your hands when God is giving you so many things He wishes you to have? Next time, try to be more open, you’ll never know what surprises might just come your way. :-)
