What would you love in a soulmate?

What would you love in a soulmate?

What would you love in a life partner?

Being honest?

Dependable?

Reliable?

Courteous?

Loyal?

Who wouldn’t want that?

Who would disagree with that?

But I guess the question’s asking another thing.

What would you LOVE?

What would make you smile

like you’ve never smiled before?

What would make you

wanna get up each morning,

and pray that the day may not yet end,

not yet,

but that it may last forever?

What would make you

wanna dream again

or make you believe in dreams again?

A certain melody in her voice perhaps,

a certain laugh;

the way he walks,

the way he holds your hand;

maybe a certain innocence in her eyes,

a certain wonder;

the mysterious way

she combs her hair;

the ravishing way he carries himself

Small wonders perhaps

yet BIG wonders,

things that make you

fall in love

over

and over

again…
