  • Hi Jocelyn

Well said, we have to let go in order for us to move forward. I always think of it as, I must let go in order to make room for more good to come in to my life :-)
    Thanks for sharing.

Imperfect Action is better than No Action

  • Choosing to reconnect with nature encourages a person to remember the meaning of releasing what is unnecessary. Burdensome thoughts and feelings no longer make sense as you relearn to apprecaite what is. Simplicty is the path to self-acceptance. Thanks for your visit to Dreambuilders Australia.

  • My favourite quote on prayer is from Mahatma Gandhi:

“Prayer is not an old woman’s idle amusement. Properly understood and applied, it is the most potent instrument of action.”

He’s not just being poetic here, he’s literally correct, if only everyone realised this!

  • This is so true. There is freedom when one is brave enough to let go. Living in the present moment is the only way it works for me.

    Hi Jocelyn!

You are working with an assignment to spread the authentic way to approach God. And the way is PRAYER.It is a lovely work. U just have to add a few more colors too, which includes the testimonies of people, who got answers from God.
Keep it up. Be assured that my prayers will follow your spiritual growth, always.

    Shankar.

  • @Giovanna - Nice tip, Giovanna. Making room for the new things to come in, I will take note of that!

@Liara - When we are loaded with many burdens, simplicity is indeed the way to go.

@Julian - Thanks for sharing the poweful quote.

@Tess - It does take much courage to let go and to find true freedom.

@Shankar - Thanks for your encouragement, keep up the good work as well!

  • This is a very wise quote. Yes, ask and let go, dwelling on it will not make a difference. Keep moving and keep asking.

  • Hi Jocelyn,
This reminds me of a saying I’ve said often - “Let go, let God”. There is much peace for me in that thought - and in yours. Thank you.

  • Hi Jocelyn,

Very true! Letting go takes alot of faith and courage. And it is after the big pause that we find what we’re looking for or it finds it’s way to us. The important lesson is to continue to have faith during the pause.

Thanks for the enlightening post. :-)

    Many Blessings….

  • Hi Jocelyn,

that is so perfect! “The answer comes only after the big pause of letting go.” That happens for me all the time.

Can I borrow your quote sometime?

    Hilda.

  • @Hilda - Thank for the feedback, Hilda. Truly, I can say that I am now within that big pause. It’s really not an easy thing, it’s easier to act and to exert one’s will by force. But that often leads only to exhaustion. There is more power in surrender, for it is then that we are truly strong when we are able to tap upon the infinite power of God.

  • @BelieveAchieve - Thanks for affirming your belief. I do hope that I could carry on that pause, that I can fully let go and surrender and know that it’ll be okey.

  • Simplicity is itself a wonderful teacher. It offers ways to awaken more than the senses. Simplicity reconnects you to soul.
