Hi Jocelyn — this is a great quote for me to remember in moments when I say to myself “how can I be teaching meditation? I’m not at peace 100% of the time.” Keeping in mind that I don’t need to be perfect all the time to teach something is not just comforting, but it’s key if I’m actually going to make the kind of contribution I want to bring to the world.
Such a brilliant quote! Yes, we all can help each other, we all have gifts to share. Often times it is simply a matter of turning up our awareness to discover what gifts we do have to share. Often times our presence is the greatest present of all.
