I Go Back To Days of Youth
I go back to the days of my youth
when I was full of hope, of trust, and of love.
I go back to a grateful heart,
happy for all the blessings God has given me.
I go back when I was loved,
when I was with the people
who cared for me the most.
I go back to humility,
eager to learn everything
God is teaching me from day to day.
I go back to confidence,
believing in how wonderfully
and lovingly I have been conceived.
I go back with the eyes of wonder,
and with the heart of a child
in awe of all the beauty of the earth.
I go back to strength,
I go back to courage,
I go back to dreams
that have propelled me
to where I am today.
I go back home to where my heart is,
and to where I shall always return,
however high I soar,
however far I seem to be.

Beautiful poem. Truly, home is where the heart is.
@GADEL – Thank you, my friend. 😉
