What Would You Do In Heaven?

Have you ever experienced desiring to attract a certain amount of money using the Law of Attraction only to lose a substantial amount sooner than you can gain anything? Seems to be so ironic, the exact opposite of what we wanted to do, to earn and attract money.

If this happens to you, it isn’t really the time to fear. Maybe the Universe is just telling you something, helping you to accomplish something that’s keeping you from the realization of your desires.

The Universe may be teaching you detachment. True, it is painful to lose money, but this situation sort of tests you, on where your hopes are based on. Is it based on the material things you currenly possess? Or is it from a spiritual realm, a heavenly treasure that cannot be stolen away from you because you know that no matter how much material things you lose, you can always gain them back, even ten times its original worth!

Are you losing money when you were just wishing to attract it? Take heart. Detach. After you are able to let go of your attachment to external things, you will gain a spiritual wealth that will attract all things your heart truly desires!

Ever heard of the Law of Attraction? How about the book called “The Secret”? Ever delved into the New Age philosophies about the power of the mind and of attracting one’s desires? I myself have studied them. And I have discovered many truths in their teachings. There is only one thing though that I would like to warn you about. For even if all these teachings would teach you about MIND, DESIRE and MANIFESTING, the most important word would still be this – SURRENDER.

Surrender, letting go, Letting God. These are the most important words, yet often the most difficult. That is why these are the least discussed or explained. Teachers of this Law of Attraction sometimes mention the word ALLOWING, and this could very well be the equivalent of SURRENDER. There is also another word – DETACHMENT. Yea, in these world rests true power, but applying them with words such as manifesting and mind power often causes confusion. And when people get confused, detachment is often the first word they get rid off, because it doesn’t sound powerful, and because it feels so awkward to DETACH from something you DESIRE to MANIFEST.

But it is often in here where most Law of Attraction followers fail. They fail to manifest by failing to detach and let go of the outcome. I’ve tripped here as well. I got so stressed visualizing goals, setting them, finding the right action to manifest them that in the end, I found myself more attached than ever to these desires instead of surrendering to the Highest Power that can see me through.

It is next to impossible to focus on these desires while detaching from the results we want to happen. In the process of learning the countless techniques bombarded upon us on how to manifest, how to discover our desires, how to attract what we want, we only tend to get more attached, and so we lose in the end.

I’m not saying that everything we’ve learned so far is useless. Far from that. What I’m saying is that we may be giving undue focus to the techniques, to the many HOWS, that we get imprisoned and entangled in them, losing our powers along the way.

Detachment for me, is not a good word. For no person can remain detached to everything. One can only be detached from one thing and attached to another.

If you want to be detached (freed) from the expectation and pressure of seeing the achievement of your material desires for instance, you must be attached to another thing. You must SURRENDER to a greater good, a greater desire.

See ye FIRST God’s Kingdom and all these shall be added unto you.

He who seeks to save His life will lose it, but He who SURRENDERS His life for my sake shall HAVE it.
