Fill Your Heart With Beautiful Things

lightheart2

“…fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.” – Philippian 4:8, GNT

We need to be filled with the good and the beautiful. We need to be reminded of what makes life worth living for and what makes our dreams worth reaching for. The darker the night, the brighter the stars must shine. The deeper the sorrow, the greater must be the joy we need to overcome it.

With God, let us cling to the truth that all shall be well and all shall be beautiful in the end. If goodness has not yet succeeded, then it is not yet the end.

Arise therefore from the ashes of your despair and look towards the future God has in store for you. Claim the eternal treasure that could never be surpassed by fleeting things. Fill your heart with beautiful things which none could ever take away from you.

“Be of good cheer. Do not think of today’s failures, but of the success that may come tomorrow. You have set yourselves a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere; and you will find a joy in overcoming obstacles. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost.” – Helen Keller
