To Find The Beautiful

findthebeautiful

“Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.”- Anne Frank

There are times when our days seem filled with gloom and all we could ever think of are sad and dreary thoughts. It is during such days when we grow old within, and our soul hungers for its true food.

Hope however finds its way when we are able to catch a glimpse of the beautiful once again. It’s as though all of a sudden, our spiritual eyes are opened and we could finally see something else in a colorful petal, in the flight of a bird or in the dancing of the pouring rain.

When we see beauty again, we are able to catch a bit of joy once more. We are able to live, to truly live, even in that short moment that takes our breath away.

“…The LORD, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty,
God shines out.” – Psalm 50, WEB
