I have been privileged to receive a free copy of Jonathan Mead’s Book RECLAIM YOUR DREAMS. For those of you who would like to get your own copy, you can proceed to this link “Reclaim Your Dreams Book”.
This book came at a time when I’ve been reassessing my own dreams and my own life. So when I had the chance to read it, I quickly took it and digested all the inspiration I could savor from it.
Following are just some of the inspiring excerpts I read from the book:
“Sometimes the best way to solve a problem is to give up.”
“When you give up caring about all the things that aren’t essential, you make room for what makes you come alive. Most importantly, you create space for your dreams to grow.”
“Go directly to happiness (do not pass go).”
“Don’t live life based on a template.”
“Give yourself the permission to be ridiculous. If you want to ride a motorcycle across China, put it down.”
True enough, I’ve realized that giving up doesn’t always necessarily mean defeat, but of a short retreat, of rejuvenating one’s strength by letting go of unnecessary burdens so you can welcome what’s new and fresh and joyfully close to your heart.
It is our dreams and our hopes that keep us alive. This book would surely be helpful to ignite those dreams that have long gone into slumber, that have long been forgotten.
Take time to dream and to think about what you really want. Take off that mask, dream your own dreams and make them come true!

Love it!

What a great post. I haven’t read the book but I would definitely like to now. I know what my dreams are, but I am definitely in a spot where I need to reclaim them. I need to get it together with my whole novel writing situation and it sounds like this book could be really helpful in relation to that. Thanks for writing about this!

@Liara - I believe this is the first book review I’ve made. I guess I’d be doing more of which in the future since I’m a real bookworm and I’m really happy to share things I’ve read about
@Lea - I was really surprised! Thanks for passing on the honor. I’d be writing a post about why I love blogging.
@Positively Present - Keep up the good work in your writing! Can’t wait to read your novel.

“Don’t live life based on a template” has to be one of my favorites. We must be willing to break the mold and start anew!

Sounds like a really interesting and uplifting book. It is great that you recommended it, as I doubt that I would have ever found it otherwise.
Reclaim Your Dreams sound like my kind of book.
I especially like and agree with these two quotes:
“When you give up caring about all the things that aren’t essential, you make room for what makes you come alive. Most importantly, you create space for your dreams to grow.”
“Go directly to happiness (do not pass go).”
