“I believe that a simple and unassuming manner of life is best for everyone, best both for the body and the mind.” – Albert Einstein
A simple life is a truthful life. It is a life that doesn’t need to pretend or to compare oneself with others. When one is simple, one is like a child. One knows what one wants deep down in one’s heart. In simplicity, one doesn’t acquire what one doesn’t need to have; hence one has more time to pursue one’s deepest desires. One can have time to listen to another. One can have the time to extend a helping hand.
May we strive for a simple life, because it is the simple who are truly happy. They are the ones who truly know how to love.
“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.”– Matthew 11:25, NIV
