What Makes Us Happy

whatmakesushappy

Let not another’s measure of happiness be your own measure. Judge not the things that can make you happy. – Jocelyn Soriano

Many times, what makes us happy aren’t really the things we thought could make us happy. We may imagine many things we wanted to have. We may dream of great things and spend all our time reaching them. But achieving such do not always make us happy.

The truth is, we often wonder why after getting all these things, we are not yet as happy as we thought we should be.

May this help us in times when we feel frustrated for not getting what we want. Let us try to think that maybe, there are other things reserved for us, things that can really satisfy our hearts.

Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. – John 16:22, WEB
