Where Are You Going?

It is not enough that you enjoy the journey, the more important thing is to know where you are headed for. – Jocelyn Soriano

We cannot go on living without knowing where we are headed for. Days pass by so quickly and soon we will realize that we have but a little time left. What have we done with the time given us. Have we arrived nearer to where we wished to go?

Let us not be distracted by passing pleasures and short-lived amusements. Some roads may appear attractive, but they may lead us astray eventually. He who is a wise traveller brings with him a map so as not to be lost. He avoids the paths that will deter him from reaching his destination and takes the safest route to arrive where he desires to go.

One day we shall see how our journey has lasted but for a moment. We must never endanger our eternal treasures for fleeting desires.

Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it. – Matthew 7:13-14, WEB
