To be able to sing the song of your life before the whole world without anyone judging you.  This is how I imagine  heaven to be, how each of us will get our chance to sing, the sound of our voice no longer dependent on our vocal chords, but on the condition of our heart.

We each shall have our moment when everybody listens to our song, to the sweet melody of a soul that can only come from the joys and tears we have experienced in life.  Nobody else can sing your song for it is as unique as you are, and as special as the life God has given you.

Imagine not being judged by the color of your skin.  Imagine everyone being accepted for who they are and how they appear to be.  Imagine a heaven where there is no race or color far more superior than the rest.  Imagine a heaven where every child is God’s beloved.

To be able to paint a beautiful scenery right out of one’s mind. Golden sunsets. Starry nights. Busy folks doing the harvest. Wrinkled faces still beaming with joy. Streets filled with people from all walks of life, thinking, laughing, chatting with one another.

Ah, to be able to paint without delay, without error, with no trembling of a hand that could mar the perfect picture one has envisioned from the heart. Imagine painting like that. Imagine being an artist in heaven. 😉

In heaven they say, there would be lots of angels, and we’d all spend the day playing harps. I think there is no rule however that prevents us from playing other instruments, a guitar perhaps.  I’ve always wanted to see myself singing while playing a guitar. My problem is that it doesn’t work for me, I just can’t do those two things well at the same time! So in heaven, I imagine that there will be a guitar that can play by itself, a guitar that can play in the background as I sing my own songs, songs I’ve composed, songs that spontaneously flow from the heart. 😉

Imagine drinking as much coffee as you can without the side effects. No more hyper-acidity. No more heart palpitations. No more insomnia for drinking too much java. You will just be able to enjoy the rich brewed coffee cup after cup after cup. I know, this is starting to sound like a tv commercial, but allow me, for I love coffee! In my heaven there will always be good coffee. Cappuccino everyone? 😉
