Confidence In God’s Will

donotfear

There are times when we feel afraid. How can we find courage? Let us start by having confidence in the will of God who loves us and seeks only for what’s good for us. He will not allow anything to happen to us that will not bless us.

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you.
Yes, I will help you.
Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
-Isaiah 41:10, WEB-BE

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7, WEB-BE

You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. – John 19:11, WEB-BE

And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints. – Romans 8:28, DRB

“Do not fear anything; nothing will happen to you against my will!” – Jesus to St. Faustina

Nothing that is not part of God’s will is allowed to come into the life of someone who trusts and obeys Him… Isn’t it glorious to know that no matter how unjust something may be… by the time it reaches us it is God’s will for us and will ultimately work to our good? – Streams in the Desert

We live fascinating lives if we are living in the center of God’s will. All the attacks that Satan hurls at us through the sins of others are not only powerless to harm us but are transformed into blessings along the way. – Hannah Whitall Smith
