Inspirational Quotes from Og Mandino

darkstars2

Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.”

Never neglect the little things. Never skimp on that extra effort, that additional few minutes, that soft word of praise or thanks, that delivery of the very best that you can do. It does not matter what others think, it is of prime importance, however, what you think about you. You can never do your best, which should always be your trademark, if you are cutting corners and shirking responsibilities. You are special. Act it. Never neglect the little things.”

“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.”

“Treasure the friendship you receive above all. It will survive long after your gold and good health have vanished.”

“Sooner or later all mankind will realize that the greatest cure for all the ills and wrongs, the cares, the sorrow and crimes of humanity rests solely in acts of love. Love is the greatest gift from God. It is the divine spark that everywhere produces and restores life. To each and every one of us, love gives us the power to work miracles with your own life and those we touch. ”

“Take the attitude of a student, never be too big to
ask questions, never know too much to learn something new. ”

“No, my son, do not aspire for wealth and labor not only to be rich. Strive instead for happiness, to be loved and to love, and most important to acquire peace of mind and serenity.”

“Only a habit can subdue another habit.”

“Obstacles are necessary for success because in selling, as in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats. Yet each struggle, each defeat, sharpens your skills and strengths, your courage and your endurance, your ability and your confidence and thus each obstacle is a comrade-in-arms forcing you to become better… or quit. Each rebuff is an opportunity to move forward; turn away from them, avoid them, and you throw away your future.”

“Today…..I begin a new life”.”

I am convinced that the greatest legacy we can leave our children are happy memories: those precious moments so much like pebbles on the beach that are plucked from the white sand and placed in tiny boxes that lay undisturbed on tall shelves until one day they spill out and time repeats itself, with joy and sweet sadness, in the child now an adult.”

When Everyday is a Miracle

miracleseveryday2

“The only trap I must beware not to fall into, is to think that each day is the same as the next. In fact, each morning brings with it a hidden miracle, and we must pay attention to this miracle.” – Paulo Coelho, Warrior of the Light

Everyday is a miracle. We just don’t know it yet. We just can’t see it yet. But when the eyes of our hearts are truly opened, then we can finally see what God has in store for us each day.

The flowers see it and they blossom. The birds taste it in their flight and express it in their songs.

Are we not more valuable than they?

“…hope returns when I remember this one thing: The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.” – Lamentations 3:21-24

Discover Your Very Best

smallgreat2

“Life always waits for some crisis to occur before revealing itself at its most brilliant.” Paulo Coelho, Eleven Minutes

You don’t know what you’ve got until you’re put into a situation that will demand from you everything that you could ever give. Only then will you discover what you can really do!

Before that time, you only have an idea. After that time, you would be surprised to know how much of your potential had been untapped.

So trust that even when bigger problems come your way, you still have a lot in you to overcome it. You may not know it now, but God knows. He knows your fullest potential and He alone could guide you into being the best that you could ever be!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7, KJV

I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. “There are so many ways to be brave in this world. Sometimes bravery involves laying down your life for something bigger than yourself, or for someone else. Sometimes it involves giving up everything you have ever known, or everyone you have ever loved, for the sake of something greater.

But sometimes it doesn’t.

Sometimes it is nothing more than gritting your teeth through pain, and the work of every day, the slow walk toward a better life.

That is the sort of bravery I must have now.

– Veronica Roth, Allegiant

God Will Provide For You

Single Acacia Tree in Masai Mara, Kenya. Film Shot made 1995, scanned.

My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19, WEBBE

God will provide for your needs. His providence may not always be in the form of material wealth, but He will provide. He may provide you with talent or with skill. He may provide you with opportunities. He may provide you with strength. He may provide you with time. He may provide you with faith. He may provide you with people who will support you and give you hope. He will never forsake you. Each moment that you are alive is a sure sign that God is already providing for you because He is right now providing you with His love.

For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. – Matthew 5:45, WEBBE
