Sometimes our needs are really quite simple. Deep within us, our desires truly speak of something good. We just don’t hear them often, maybe because of fear, or our willingness to face whatever difficulties we need to face in order to reach them.
They need to be awakened however, so we can live full and meaningful lives. We need to hear what it is we truly, deeply, and sincerely desire.

The thing about hope is that it’s a positive force that shines the most when it’s dark. When everything’s going well, we hardly notice it’s there. But when things go against us, when our dreams fade and when we see no immediate reprieve from our troubles, that’s when hope does its best work for us.

I’ve been trying to find my desire in my life for such a long time, i have an idea what i want but do not know where to start. I have a desire to help others so much, but can’t get my foot in the door.
I do alot of meditating but not doing really well with that right now.

An idea of what you want to do is just that an idea. Until you afix it in a tangible form.
Write out a statement of how you want to help others that will help you to forumlate what avenues (options) you have to achieve your goals.
do you want to volunteer? do you want to write a book? do you want to start some type of organization or support group that will address a specific need? Once you know what you want to do write out a plan of action and follow it step by step until you have achieved your goal. Others not alowing you to “get your foot in the door” is sometime merely an excuse for not pursuing your life’s desires often arising out of fear. When you truly want to accomplish something nothing will stand in your way.
Good Luck to you.
