What’s the Good News in the Gospel?

Ever pondered what the good news is really about?
What does the Gospel mean?
At this point in time when many lives are lost and broken,
does it really bring good news to those who hear it?

I believe what’s lacking
is the way in which the Gospels should be perceived
as a photograph should be viewed in its proper light
to bring about its true beauty instead of hiding it

What’s the good news in the Gospel?

What does Jesus really want when He preached
to the multitude? What did He truly desire
when He saw the hunger and misery of the crowd?
In truth, Jesus wants to free us from our suffering
He wants us to know how much we are loved
He wants to take away our anxieties
so we may live in trust and gratitude each day

Jesus wants to empower us
and to tell us the Truth
He desires that we live a full life here on earth
and walk with hope for the greater joys to come

Jesus was never the pessimist people thought He were.
Rather, He was the greatest optimist
there has ever been.

For in spite of the darkness surrounding him,
in spite of the sorrows and of the pain,
in spite of calvary
in spite of death,
Jesus was able to rise again and again and again,
Jesus never faltered
Jesus never lost His Light.

He knew.
He believed.
He rose above us
that He may bring all men unto the Light
where He is.

Are you searching for hope? Download the e-book today - "Where Hope Can Be Found". The thing about hope is that it’s a positive force that shines the most when it’s dark. When everything’s going well, we hardly notice it’s there. But when things go against us, when our dreams fade and when we see no immediate reprieve from our troubles, that’s when hope does its best work for us.
