The Inspirer's Wisdom

Where is Hope?

1168392_feather

The Inspirer once roamed the poor alleys of the country. In those dark alleys, she saw beggars, orphans, sick people, lonely people, those who knew no other existence but the darkness in which they trod.

Seeing their plight and feeling their sufferings as her own, the Inspirer’s heart broke within her and she felt like all the world was no more. There is no hope, no relief, no salvation. There is only a blackhole pulling ever inwards, contracting within its vacuum the emptiness that cannot even speak itself.

The Inspirer felt lost in the abyss, lost with all the hungry souls that cannot be fed. How can they ever find their way? How can even a flicker of life arise from where these people are?

The Inspirer was without her Defender, yet she must fight the gloom that crept at her soul. She was the only one in there who has ever known warmth, who has ever been acquainted with hope and joy and love.

She paused and steadied her breath. She prayed. And when she looked up at last upon the heavens, there she found her answer. For there, there shone the brightest stars she has ever seen!

All is not lost after all. Even in the darkness, there is a light to guide the way.

To Love is Difficult, Why Desire It?

1075604_old_bears

They say that love is difficult. They say that it will consume you, all of you, and that you will never be the same again.

You will be exposed to heartaches. You will experience pain, pain unlike the ones you’ve experienced before.

They say that once you love, there can be no turning back.  Once your eyes are opened, you can never close them again. You’d have departed your childish innocence, that fairy tale world where nothing ever goes wrong and nothing ever comes unexpected.

Love is difficult. Why desire it?

When you fall in love, you run the risk of having something, and of losing something. You run the risk of never viewing your nights the same way again.

If you lose the love you have sought, you will lose your quiet evenings, and they will be replaced with sleepless nights. You will always search for what you have lost. You will search for warm arms to embrace you, for sweet lips to kiss you, for gentle words to caress your neck. And who can bear missing such wonderful things?

Is it better therefore to remain as a child who knows nothing? Is it better to be innocent than to broken?

None can judge which is far better than the heart that needs to answer such things for herself.

They say that love is difficult. But it is not easiness that I seek. Life is a struggle in itself. Look where there is no struggle, and all you can see is a world bereft of life and of consciousness.

You can never truly lose anything unless you have possessed something first. You can never grieve of loss less you have possessed something great, something that gave value to your life.

Difficult as it is, love is wonderful, and it is worth all the troubles other people may try to warn you about. Living a full life, risking to lose something wonderful. To love is indeed the one purpose a person desires to live his life for. Life always chooses to be born, to be experienced, and to be aware of the beautiful path we walk upon each day.

Why People Can’t Receive Their Blessings

645027_allotment_shed

The Inspirer asks, “Why are so many people in gloom today? Why the many down-trodden hearts?”

The Visionary replies, “It is because people are not able to receive the blessings our good God wishes to bestow upon them.”

Why is this so? How could they not receive such blessings being showered everywhere?”

Because people do not believe.”

What is it that they cannot believe?”

The Visionary paused. It was as if a certain sadness bit his heart. He knew the answer, but the words are not the words he wishes to speak to such a sensitive soul.

But the Inspirer persisted, “What is it? I need to know so I’d know where to start.”

The Visionary finally replied, “These people do not believe in two things. First, they do not believe God’s blessings are everywhere and within their reach. Second, they do not believe themselves worthy of such blessings.”

Tears fell down the Inspirer’s eyes. She felt pity for her people and wept. The Inspirer knew however that she must not give up her task. Despite everything said, she knew she must BELIEVE.

Is Retirement Your Life’s Goal?

860275_watching_time

We often live as though we are taking permanent residency where we are rather than as though we are on a journey and enjoying the road before us.

Come to think of it, how many retirement plans been brought before our table? How many insurance plans have been purchased as though we can insure everything we encounter in this life?

Think about it again. Is retirement the real goal of life? Is it your goal?

Now there is nothing wrong with retirement, as there is nothing wrong with planning one’s journey. And if retirement can teach us one thing, it’s that our life here is bound by time, that it will end somehow and that we have to make full use of the time that we have.

In your current undertakings, are you making full use of your time? Are you always putting off for tomorrow what you can enjoy and savor today? Are you fooling yourself that you are trying to build something permanent?

Nothing is permanent in this life. Life is a journey, a temporary abode where we have to do all that we can do given our limited time.

Enjoy each day given you, savor each moment that you have with your loved ones, take the trip you’ve always wanted to have. And whenever you see a good scenery, why not pause for a while and take some pictures? Not with your digital camera, but with your mind. Let the beauty of the moment be imprinted in your soul so you can always go back to it, even when your time is up. At the end of your journey, all that matters is whether you have lived your life well, that you have done everything your heart has ever desired to do.

What the World Needs Right Now

Much as we desire to be noble and to claim an

undying love for all mankind, maybe what the

world needs now is just one person, fully devoting

oneself to another, making real the manifestation

of God’s immeasurable love for each and every

person He called His own.
