In a world that often feels uncertain and unpredictable, hope is a precious and powerful gift. Romans 15:13 offers a beautiful assurance about the nature of hope and its source: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.”
God is described as “the God of hope,” indicating that He is the ultimate source and giver of hope. This hope is not merely a wishful thinking or a fleeting feeling but a confident expectation rooted in God’s promises and His faithfulness. It is a deep, unwavering assurance that God will fulfill His promises and that His plans for us are good.

Strengthen my faith and empower me through the Holy Spirit to remain hopeful and expectant of Your goodness. I trust in Your promises and place my hope in Your faithful character. Fill me with the joy and peace that come from believing in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
