In times of heartache and struggle, it can be challenging to remember or believe in the steadfastness of God’s love. Yet, Jeremiah 31:3 provides a beautiful reminder of the nature of God’s love for us: it is everlasting. This means that His love does not falter or fade; it is eternal and unwavering, regardless of our circumstances.
God’s declaration, “I have loved you with an everlasting love,” assures us that His love is not subject to the highs and lows of our emotional states or the shifting sands of our situations. Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your everlasting love, a love that is constant and unchanging. Even when I feel distant or broken, remind me of Your unfailing love that draws me close to You. Help me to rest in the assurance that I am loved by You, regardless of my circumstances. Let Your love be my comfort and my strength, and let it guide me through this difficult time.
