“No man is poor who has a Godly mother.”- Abraham Lincoln
“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.”- Washington Irving
To what can we compare the great love of a mother? It is a love that is not selfish. It is a love that is very patient! It is a love that never grows tired or disheartened. It is a love that is giving, always giving and could never give enough. It is a love that is gentle and kind. It is a love that is strong, one that would defend her children though it costs her own life! It is a love that is never afraid of sacrifice, but one that would take on every suffering just to be able to save her child. It is a love that lingers long after it has been forgotten. It is a love that never dies.
There is no comparison on earth worthy to depict a mother’s love.
As one whom his mother comforts,
so I will comfort you.
