When Obstacles Arise

whenobstaclesarise

No one escapes from the frustration of delays, obstacles and things not happening as they should. If such things happen on a busy day, the more also is our stress and disappointment, even our anger for all the hindrances to our goal.

But what could help us most if faced with such obstacles? Would it help us if we should be anxious and fretful about losing what we wanted to achieve? Or would it help us if we should lose our temper and rage in anger at all the obstacles coming our way?

Sometimes, the most helpful thing we can do is to accept the situation as it is. After which, we can begin to think how to readjust our plans so we can still move on despite the hindrances that came our way.

When obstacles arise, let your best self arise as well, and let your ingenuity and courage find its way to assist you. Let hope be there. And let there be a calm confident spirit that is ready to face all odds and meet every challenge that comes along the way.

I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world. – John 16:33, WEB

Are you searching for hope? Download the e-book today - "Where Hope Can Be Found". The thing about hope is that it’s a positive force that shines the most when it’s dark. When everything’s going well, we hardly notice it’s there. But when things go against us, when our dreams fade and when we see no immediate reprieve from our troubles, that’s when hope does its best work for us.
