Why There Is War
War exists in this world because we don’t understand each other, and because we believe that our happiness is not connected to the happiness of others around us. If this is so, can people really be able to bridge such a big gap of understanding by trying hard or trying more?
I believe that people have tried, at times, even to the best they can. But we, as human beings, though sentient and most aware of all creatures are, are still bound by our limitations, which we cannot break out from on our own. Laugh as others may, we need a Higher Consciousness to lead us from our blindspots, to help us see what we cannot perceive with our limitations, and to bridge the gap between hearts and souls to the one Truth that will unite us and bind us in perfect unconditional Love.

Only by loving God first, can we be able to love others as we truly love ourselves.
Hi Jocelyn .. A really good post .. and what you’re saying makes absolute sense ..
I just wish that those in large countries would relate more to other places in the world .. ie jaguars have nearly gone from America .. and the same is happening in Africa and India .. yet people don’t seem to tie the two together, or transpose this information into today’s age. Also education is so different, and traditions and cultures ..
And we do carry on doing the same things .. life is not easy – but Nature will win .. whether humans will be around is another matter ..
Depressing .. but there is hope and love … which can overcome .. I hope this week is good for you in your new homeland .. Hilary
@Hilary – You’re right, Hilary. Understanding should not only stop between individuals, but should continue even between countries, especially now with the devastation of Japan. People do have a hard time connecting these things, I just hope someday we’ll be able to have more real compassion between each one of us. 😉
Human nature dictates the one most control the other; one must overpower and manipulate the other; and out of greed and gluttony, they will wage war.
@Thor – I believe there can still be a proper order to things without war and manipulation. Instead of dictators, we can have leaders who look after their people. And instead of slaves, we can have willing supporters who respect their leaders. Cheers!
Hi Jocelyn,
I think you’re right. We need to listen more to one another and realize we’re all one and all connected.
@Angela – If we could only do that, we may find out we’re listening to our very own hearts within the hearts of other people 😉
Hi Jocelyn, what a lovely post. I have put the Happiness feed at the bottom of my blog, as although my own blog is a gaming one, the happiness feed is relevant no matter what you are interested in. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing your next post,

@Nicola – Thank you for your comment, Nicola! I’m glad to see you here, do keep in touch 😉
