Being Fully Present Today

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

“Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

You can start to make the most of your life today. Here is the present moment. Here is the opportunity you’ve always been looking for.

You have the strength to face your challenges today. Cast away the shadows cast by the future and the past. You don’t have to face them at the moment. All that is needed is to endure the present hour.

You can breathe today. You can feel the wind touching your face.

Life has been given you, and you can give so much back.

Savor each sweet moment you have with those you love. Make them feel you’re really there!

In the stillness of the present moment, you can be truly alive. Take it all in and let the richness of the present empower you. Fill your soul with all the love you could possibly receive and in this prayer, find peace and healing and life.

Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. – Matthew 6:34, WEB
