To Grow Old Beautifully

growoldbeautifully

When you have loved as she has loved, you grow old beautifully. – W. Somerset Maugham

It is not only youth that has its gifts. Even old age has its blessings.

While youth is a time of physical vigor, old age can be a time of spiritual maturity.

While youth is a time of great hopes, old age can be a time of hopes fulfilled.

Old age can be a time of wisdom and of passing on that wisdom to those who are still searching for their way. It is a time of memories, beautiful ones that make the soul full and pure.

One that has aged is one that has been tested and made gold. One has become as a ripe fruit that is sweet to taste, a sturdy tree which no storm can break.

Gray hair is a crown of glory.
It is attained by a life of righteousness.
-Proverbs 16:31, WEB
