It isn’t only one great trial that tests a friendship. Perseverance and lasting faithfulness prove also how true and precious our friendships are.
It is the daily and constant devotion to our relationships that make it strong through time. It is the little patience and constant forgiveness that builds it up and fastens it with a bond that cannot be easily broken by any storm.
We often fail to notice such deeds. But throughout our lifetime as we look back, we’d be most grateful for people who walked with us in all the phases of our journey, whether it be fun or dragging, in sunshine or in rain. We’d find out how blessed we are with those people who silently provided their hearts to us, enduring all the many trials of daily life, never giving up but constantly being concerned and ready to give a helping hand.
Let us never forget such people. They are the silent heroes God has sent our way to bless and guide us in this journey called life.
