About Kings and Suns

I’ve recently been watching some Korean historical dramas.  In one of those dramas, the king was compared to the sun.  In my mind, that was a wonderful metaphor!  The leader is like the sun, the source of life and brightness for his people.

I have also remembered a more important thing.  I remembered how Jesus Himself is the Light of the world!  He is not just the physical sun, but Light Himself, the source of everything that is good.  How blessed are we to have Him, to have an opportunity to know Him.

One day, by His grace, we may see Him face to face.  We’d see the One True Light and only then could we truly see heaven!
