Acceptance and Hope

acceptanceandhope

We must accept the times when it is not within our ability to help other people. Let us not despair however, because we have hope in God.

True humility calls us into the truth of what we can and what we cannot do. We may sincerely desire to do more, yet our capacities and resources may not allow such to be done. We may want to be of help to those we love most, yet it may not be our help that they truly need.

Once we start to realize the limits of what we cannot do, we also begin to understand what God can do. Instead of trying to do everything on our own, let us put those we cannot handle in God’s faithful hands.

Pray and do your very best. And at the proper time, leave all else to God who can make miracles happen before your very eyes!

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.
-Proverbs 3:5-8, WEB
