A Time For Rest

Samsung

“Be little like a child of love in the arms of your Father. Where you cannot walk, he will carry you.” – St. Francis De Sales

It is not always a time for running and striving. It is not always a time for battles and for spears. There is a time for rest and silence, a time for reflection and renewing of one’s strength.

If you cannot carry on, surrender your burdens to God and let Him carry you. Let Him take away your worries. Let Him wipe your every tear.

We have a Father in heaven who cares for us and watches over us. Things do not always depend upon our strength.

Spend some days of quiet and try to hear His gentle voice guiding you within. Listen to the sounds of nature that continue to await the will of Him who brings healing and hope.

You are not alone. Be still and know that you have a God and that He loves you very very much.

“Your strength will be found in silence and in hope.” – Isaiah 30:15, CPDV
