What Happens When You Don’t Turn the Other Cheek?

I have often been challenged whenever I read the Bible verse about turning the other cheek.  Somehow, I can sense the wisdom in it, and at the same time, authentic and unselfish love.  However, there is also a part of me that can’t help but protest at the seeming injustice of it all.  Why let bad people do as they please?  Can’t we even fight back?

My post today is about a reflection about my contradictory feelings and thoughts about it and how only God’s infinite love and wisdom can give us the answer we’re looking for.
