Broken and Blessed

likebread

You don’t always know
You don’t always see
You don’t always have the strength
To accomplish what it is you desire
Even when you want to do what is good
You fail
You can’t help everyone
You can’t even help those whom you love
You are helpless

And all that’s left in you is your will
Your will to will what is good
Your will to do what is right
Even in your weakness
Even in your pain
And in your brokenness

You would have despaired
Were it not for God
Who accepts your offering
Your silent prayer
Your surrender.

God knows our helplessness
And that is why it is when we are weak
That we are really strong
For when we surrender to God,
He grants us His strength.
When we acknowledge our smallness,
He lifts us up.

He takes the bread
And breaks it
And offers it up to the Father,
And then it is blessed
And is multiplied
To feed thousands more.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
-Isaiah 51:17, WEB

Alternative pain relief is any technique that is not included in the mainstream healthcare but is considered to be effective for
pain relief. Locally serving the Aspen Valley region of Colorado, this center focuses on non surgical alternatives
to healing. It can take you 30-60 seconds before your body feels
like it can stand up straight again.
